Sales Mix & POS Imports

  • With Optimum Control 2001 you can enter PLU (menu products) from your till tapes using your existing cash register or you can import the information using the files that your polling software or POS machine creates.

Entering from your till tapes:

  • Optimum Control provides a quick entry window that can be easily set up to correspond to your “z” tape list. You simply run down the reading and enter your products sold into the system.

Importing from your cash register:

  • Optimum Control can import PLU files created by your polling software or POS system.
  • Once setup, you can import your menu sales with the click of a button. Optimum Control will show you what it is importing before saving, so that you can make adjustments as necessary.
  • Imported PLU numbers and prices are compared to Optimum Control data so you can be sure all data is correct. (See the Red & Green Markers).


Some standard imports include:

Squirrel, Panasonic, Casio, Micros and Silverware just to name a few.
